Christian surfers UK update 17th July – very busy summer ahead
17th July 2013
Christian Surfers UK - Summer events. It has been a very busy few weeks for Christian Surfers UK, with lots of opportunities to get involved in outreach around the country. For the first time CSUK were involved in the exciting 'Surf Challenge for Autism' surf contest, in conjunction with the 'Waveproject', and on the same weekend CS contacts in the South-East and London had a large involvement in the huge beach Festival 'Paddle round the Pier' in Brighton. - See Gallery photos. We now enter a very busy schedule of events, with the Nailsea Skatepark Festival near Bristol on 20th July, Phil leading the team at Soul Survivor Lift Skate Park in Stafford (26 – 30th July). We then have back-to-back and duplicate events helping the CS stall at Creationfest (free music and skate board Festival at the Royal Cornwall Showground, near Wadebridge), - 3rd - 9th August, and at the same time serving the community at the Boardmasters in Newquay. (4th - 11th Aug) If you are interested in helping at any of these events, go to the events page and contact the key person directly. Please continue to pray for resources, energy and volunteers as we try to ensure that we make the most of these fantastic opportunities. The latest magazine has now been published, and for all members this will be heading to you, and we also have a brand-new exciting clothing brand which members can order. Hopefully see you at a festival event during the Summer, God bless Phil Williams. PS less than two months away before the 21st Jesus Surf Classic at Croyde Bay, make a date in your diary.
