2nd November 2011
Dear Christian surfers, members, supporters, and friends over the last two weeks there have been lots going on in life of Christian surfers UK, with the holding of the extremely successful Jesus longboard classic, at Polzeath, where we were blessed with great competitors, helpers, waves, and even some dolphins.
The latest christiansurfers prayer diary for November has just been sent out, via mail chimp, so if you have not received yours and you would like to please e-mail me atPhil@Christiansurfers.co.uk
Following JLC Dave Renyard, Stevi, Andrew Morris and Jake were involved in the running of the independent British surfing Championships at Newquays Fistral beach. A big thanks to them and the event was a real success.
Then yesterday Dave and Phil were involved in assisting at the UK pro surf tour speciality event held at the North Devon location of Lynmouth..
In some respects this was quite a low-key affair, despite there being the top British surf was present, as it was mid-week but the standard of surfing was unreal.
Congratulations to Reubyn Ash who scored an incredible 19.77 out of 20 in the final, along with excellent displays from Russ Winter Toby D and Jayce Robinson.
This week continues with the activities, with an opportunity to be involved in one of the final surfing events of the year. The location is Porthcawl (South Wales) and the event is the 7th Tsunami Cup.
Christiansurfers partner with the Welsh coast surf club to put on this charity event was so if you can be there to help with refreshments or other assistance please get in touch with Johnny Hillman .email@example.com
And finally the second day magazine preparation is well underway, we are always looking for stories from individuals whose lives have been touched, particularly through surfing or with christian surfers. If you feel you would like to contribute then please contact David Renyard as soon as firstname.lastname@example.org
Once again we continue to give thanks for the doors God is opening, and feel support.
God bless Phil W
