HAPPY NEW YEAR - News update from Christian Surfers UK
4th January 2011
May I take this opportunity to wish our members, friends and supporters a very happy new year, and trust that this will be a positive ‘wave’ and God filled year. There are a couple of updates that I felt was important to share with you all:
The first being that the latest Second Day Magazine has now gone to press, and should be with you within the next 2 to 3 weeks. Secondly we still have some great resources that can be found at the online shop www.christiansurfers.co.uk, then go to the ‘online shop’ tab. Particularly popular is the Christian Surfers International prayer Calendar which we are now selling at a reduced price of £5 plus postage and packaging. In addition we have some Jesus Surf Classic 2010 clothing stock, these are available for £5 per T-shirt and £12 per hoody, numbers are limited however so get in early before stock runs out. If you want these items before they appear on the shop, just drop us an e-mail, but I hope they will be available in the next 3 days.
This year we are also planning our biggest ever ‘Christian Surfers UK On Tour’ series of events, where we are hoping to visit approximately 23 different locations around the UK, from St. Ives in the south to the North East of England, and hopefully Scotland, and from the West Coast of Ireland, to the East Coast of East Anglia. More details of this tour will be on the website as soon as dates and locations are confirmed. If we are coming to an area near you, and you are happy to help out or you would like us to get in touch to arrange a meeting with you or with your church leaders etc, then please don’t hesitate to contact me on 07774 138143 or e-mail email@example.com
The Tour will consist of a multi-media presentation with a question and answer session, the opportunity to find out more about the work of Christian Surfers UK, to give thanks to God for all that he has done in 2010, and to focus our attentions on what He is calling us to do in 2011.
We are really looking forward to coming out to your local areas, and trust that this will be a time of real encouragement and partnership with not only individuals but also with churches and other organisations. If you believe you can help in any way during this time, then please get in contact.
God Bless & thanks again for your support
Phil Williams (National Director)
