CS Jersey - Cirsty Dedication
14th February 2008
I’ve just returned from the Isle of Jersey, which is a truly beautiful island where I was made to feel very welcome by all the local Christian Surfers crew.

The very exciting news is that on Tuesday 12th February we had a commissioning service to spotlight the work of Cirsty as she joins us as the first part-time worker on the islands. I really felt that the Churches, as well as the CS Team, were 100% behind Cirsty, which was a real encouragement. Approximately 50 came along to the meeting in the evening, which ended in prayer for her and for the work of CS on the island.
Cirsty’s initial aims will be to grow the work on Jersey and, dare I say it, ‘Guernsey’ as we look to develop contacts there. In addition, she will be beginning to look to build relationships with the key people we have in mainland Europe in order that we can begin to network and make the most of this increasing number of Contacts. Also as part of a growing team Cirsty will be playing a role within the National Director’s portfolio and with her communications and administration skills it is envisaged that there will be a number of projects on which she will work alongside Phil and the others to complete.
Please do pray for Cirsty as she still needs to raise a considerable amount of the funding she requires to support her in her role. If anyone is interested please do contact me at the normal e-mail address.
Thanks for your prayers for Cirsty, this is a real step of faith, but having visited her I was really encouraged to have seen that she has a great team behind her.
God is good.
