Wave of Press Interest for CSUK

13th September 2007

Loads of stuff going on at the moment.
For some reason we had loads of media interest at the 'Jesus' part 1 last weekend - Good article in the Guardian newspaper, also see link to the podcast from the journalist. Follow the link here.

The re-run is over 22nd and 23rd Sept, so we need volunteers again, if you are coming ring us or drop us a line. Need some help for set up on the Friday, especially in the afternoon.

Following that we have two events on the weekend of 6th & 7th October.
THe 'Jesus Longboard Classic' being held at Polzeath (see events section) and the CS Ireland Conference in Portrush (North) again check details on the events section.

We have also been donated a board for raffling to assist with the CS mission, very kindly donated by 'Seed' Surfboards. For more details on the boards he makescheck out  www.peelsurf.com - a huge thanks to Paul Agnew. You can get raffle tickets by using the online shop, under donations 1 per ticket, or send a check to us, and we will return your numbers. It is a lovely looking Brown fish 6ft 0in - see photos in gallery.

Also we are now looking for contributions to 'Second Day Magazine' so please start writing and look out some good photos to accompany it. Contact us at www.christiansurfers.co.uk/contact.

Finally lets keep praying for safety, and the opportunities to share our faith in a relevant and meaningful way.

Thanks for all your additional help, we need volunteers to make things happen, and all those involved have been brilliant.

God Bless Phil
